Rubbernecking GOTW - You want to watch simply out of morbid curiosity.
Bucs at Jets. I have a feeling the Jets will be given this honor quite a few times this season but this week it is especially true given that it is the regular season debut of the Rex Ryan QB circus. It reminds of the now defunct Extreme Championship Wrestling. Young guys trying to prove themselves or old guys trying to stay relevant, all of which resulting in a subpar product. Bucs win on the legs of Doug Martin.
Fugliest GOTW - The only hope one of the teams has is for the game to hurry up and end.
Pats at Bills or Raiders at Colts. Tough choice here. I think that the biggest woes (or the ones most talked about) of both the Bills and Raiders are on offense. Even with that said, it comes down to who will have the bigger and better day, Brady or Luck. Just because they're at home, I'm going to go with Raiders at Colts.
In Another Game's Shadow GOTW - A great matchup that is overshadowed by an even better matchup.
Bengals at Bears. With a new head coach, a solid defense mostly still intact, and an improved offensive line, Chicago seemingly has the missing pieces in place for a run in 2013. Cincinnati will be looking to gain early post season momentum with a huge win on the road. Playoff implications abound for both teams in an early season slugfest. Bears will look tight in their win today.
Great Game for a Nap GOTW - Move along, nothing to see here.
Chiefs at Jags. The AFC West is the worst division in the NFL this season and that is a scientific fact. The Jags will be fighting the Titans for 3rd place in the AFC South behind the Texans and Colts. Rest up for the Plan Your Day Around It game later in the afternoon.
Public Enemy GOTW - Don't believe the hype.
Giants at Cowboys. The Cowboys are 6-0 in season openers versus the Giants. Unfortunately, Romo will play the game like it's a win-or-go-home situation and blow it. Giants win, Romo loses.
Plan Your Day Around It GOTW - Get your chores done early, visit the in-laws another day, and listen to the sermon online tomorrow at work. You don't want to miss this one.
Packers at 49ers. It's simple, this game could easily be an early NFC Championship preview. We'll see who's ready to make a run starting in week one. Niners win by 10.
